ProcessSafe is designed to increase awareness and knowledge of food safety and safe food handling procedures for food processors. While targeted at self-employed entrepreneurs/food processors and entry-level line workers in micro- to small-scale food processing establishments, the course may also be of use to any processor as part of their onboarding of new entry-level employees.

What to expect from ProcessSafe

Take ProcessSafe Online

The ProcessSafe online course uses Open School BC's learning management system and hosting service. This course delivers content in an organized and methodical, step-by-step instructional process that promotes a learner-centered approach to safety awareness.

Participants can download their workbook directly from the course.

Individuals who successfully complete the ProcessSafe course receive their certificate electronically within two days of completion.

Duration: You have 28 days to work through the course content and write the quiz.

Fee: $45
